Simply Excellent Translations

There's no understanding without good communication. That's a fact. There's no good communication without a clear message, expressed in a straightforward way, with clear words. And you cannot convey a clear message in a foreign language without a really good translation. Readers should understand not only the words you're saying; they should understand what you mean, what nuances shape your message and give it its unique meaning. Have you read "100 ways to translate 'I love you'" by Leandro Wolfson? You should. (If you think it's easy, it's not. If you say it to your daughther, you need to change the words; if you want to emphasize that *you* love the other person, not someone else, the translation changes, and so on...) Moreover, if you want to move your audience to action, the translator needs to know what reaction you expect in order to choose the right rendition. Neeless to say, you are going to need a very good, professional translator.
